Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms are expected across the western part of the area.
Rainy week ahead!
For locations in and near: Abilene, San Angelo, San Saba, Mason, Junction, Ozona, Haskell, Throckmorton, Brady, Sonora, Sweetwater: Between 550 PM and 800 PM, numerous rain showers will occur across the area from just south of San Angelo across Coleman, Brown and northern Mcculloch Counties. Rain will be moderate to heavy at times, and motorists should be alert for ponding of water on roads. Other scattered showers will occur across the southern third of west central Texas into San Saba County. Farther to the north, a few showers may develop across the Big Country area north of Interstate 20.
