An upper level storm system to our west will bring a chance of showers and a few thunderstorms to the area through tonight. The best chance for rainfall will be across the southeast half of the forecast area where 1/4 to 1/2 inches of rain is possible. Highs today will be in the near 50 degrees, with lows tonight in the upper 30s and lower 40s.
Clearing skies are expected through the day from west to east. Isolated showers and thunderstorms are possible across mainly the northwest Hill Country during the morning. Highs will be in the mid 50s to near 60.
For locations in and near: San Angelo, Mason, Junction, Ozona, Brady, Sonora, Barnhart, Menard, Eldorado, Eden, Ballinger: SHOWERS AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS WILL BECOME MORE WIDESPREAD ACROSS WEST CENTRAL TEXAS THROUGH THIS AFTERNOON. SEVERE WEATHER IS NOT EXPECTED...BUT DANGEROUS LIGHTNING AND BRIEF HEAVY RAINFALL WILL BE LIKELY.
