A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect for the Heartland and eastern Big Country through 9 AM. Expect visibilities at a quarter mile or less in some locations.
A Rangeland Fire Danger statement is in effect this afternoon for all of West Central Texas. Although 20 foot winds will increase 15 to 25 percent and minimum relative humidity values will drop to 15 to 25 percent, above normal fuel moisture from recent rainfall, will decrease the fire danger.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible along a front that will move through the area this morning. Expect clearing skies along with breezy west winds this afternoon.
Mild temperatures are forecast on Sunday, with highs in upper 60s to lower 70s. Expect southwest winds of 10 to 15 mph, under mostly sunny skies.
For locations in and near: Abilene, San Angelo, San Saba, Mason, Junction, Ozona, Haskell, Throckmorton, Brady, Sonora, Sweetwater: Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue across portions of West Central Texas through 815 AM CST. Brief heavy rainfall and small hail will be possible with the stronger storms. Hourly rainfall totals will generally remain below one quarter inch, with isolated higher amounts possible.
