Severe weather potential will increase across northeast Oklahoma this evening ahead of an advancing cold front. Storms will increase in coverage later tonight into Wednesday with a continued risk of severe weather during the overnight hours. Large hail and damaging wind potential will be the primary hazards.
Thunderstorms will continue through tonight across eastern Oklahoma and into western Arkansas. The severe threat is expected to wane after midnight, while the flooding risk increases, as the tendency for storms to train over the same areas increases.
