...HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 9 AM THIS MORNING TO 9 PM
MDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Temperatures in the upper 90s to low 100s.

* WHERE...A portion of northeast Montana.

* WHEN...From 9 AM this morning to 9 PM MDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses to occur.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and
Health Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in
shaded or air conditioned environments. Anyone overcome by heat
should be moved to a cool and shaded location. Heat stroke is an
emergency! Call 9 1 1.

* WHAT...Temperatures up to 100 expected.

* WHERE...Oregon Lower Treasure Valley.

* WHEN...From 11 AM MDT /10 AM PDT/ this morning to 9 PM MDT /8 PM
  PDT/ this evening.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses, especially
  for the young, elderly, and animals.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Even though the temperature today will not be
  as hot as yesterday, the humidity will be higher. This will result
  in today feeling just about as hot as yesterday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of

fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning
