URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE

...SNOW HEADED BACK INTO THE PICTURE FOR NORTHERN MINNESOTA...

.A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM IS EXPECTED TO MOVE ACROSS THE NORTHLAND
THROUGH FRIDAY. RAIN IS EXPECTED AND MAY MIX WITH SOME SNOW
TONIGHT. THE PRECIPITATION WILL BE MIXED WITH SNOW TODAY...AND
CHANGE OVER TO MAINLY SNOW TONIGHT. SOME ACCUMULATING SNOW MAY BE
FOUND AS FAR SOUTH AS THE IRON RANGE AND INTO THE TWIN PORTS.

* LOCATION...THE ARROWHEAD OF MINNESOTA...INCLUDING ISABELLA...
  LUTSEN...GRAND MARAIS...GRAND PORTAGE AND THE GUNFLINT TRAIL.

* TIMING...NOON TODAY THROUGH NOON FRIDAY.

* SNOW...8 TO 11 INCHES OF SNOW IS EXPECTED...ESPECIALLY IN THE
  TIP OF THE MINNESOTA ARROWHEAD.

* IMPACTS...ROADS WILL BECOME SNOW COVERED AND SLIPPERY.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER STORM WARNING FOR HEAVY SNOW MEANS HEAVY SNOW
ACCUMULATION IS ANTICIPATED...AND THAT SNOWFALL RATES OF ONE INCH
PER HOUR OR GREATER CAN BE EXPECTED AT TIMES. EXPECT SNOW COVERED
ROADS AND VISIBILITY RESTRICTIONS. IF YOU MUST TRAVEL...EXERCISE
EXTREME CAUTION AND ALLOW EXTRA TIME TO REACH YOUR DESTINATION.
