Fall Weather Pattern Arrives

Rain and much cooler temperatures behind a cold front will bring a feeling of fall to the east coast today. In addition, an active fall storm pattern developing in the Pacific Northwest this week will bring areas of heavy rains, and very high elevations could receive heavy snow. ZTL Airspace Summary:
A cold front will continue to push south and east into ZJX, where showers and thunderstorms should continue to develop. Expect VFR conditions after patchy MVFR clouds improve by in SC/NC/VA by 21z. Surface winds will be northwest to northeast at 7-15kts with 18-25kt gusts. Flight Hazards outside convection: LGT-MOD Turbulence at all altitudes, especially south and east of the Appalachians.
