Smoke from the Rattlesnake Fire in southeastern AZ is spreading into the area around Reserve and Glenwood late today. Visibility was not restricted by late day however smoke may become more noticeable as the evening progresses.
Another strong backdoor cold front will move into eastern New Mexico. Low clouds will gradually develop east of the central mountain chain behind the front Thursday afternoon and evening.
Southerly flow will draw modest moisture into portions of New Mexico, leading to isolated to scattered thunderstorms. Moisture will first increase in western New Mexico on Friday, gradually shifting into central parts of the state on Saturday.
