Partly to mostly cloudy northeast this morning with gusty northeast winds in the wake of a front. Not quite as warm this afternoon east with isolated thunderstorms. Dry and warm west today.
Daily dewpoint is one of many parameters used to monitor surges of the North American Monsoon across the Southwest U.S.
High temperatures Thursday will be 3 to 7 degrees above normal west of the central mountains and near normal to the east of the central mountains. Isolated thunderstorms are expected in the north central and south central mountains and across the northeast plains. A few storms in the northeast plains could become strong to severe Thursday afternoon and evening.
