Some storms will be capable of producing damaging winds and large hail mainly this evening. Then, the risk of locally heavy rain will persist across east central and southeast areas through late tonight.
Rain chances in the form of thunderstorms are on the uptrend and will peak most areas by late today into tonight. However, chances will persist Tuesday and Wednesday across much of eastern New Mexico.
