Scattered showers and thunderstorms will favor central portions of the state with slight chances far west and far east. Brief heavy rain, small hail and gusty winds will be the main impact from the stronger showers and storms.
Temperatures will fall below normal this weekend through the middle of next week.
Rain chances are on the uptrend this weekend with increasing potential for an early onset to the North American Monsoon.
Flash flooding chances increase in and near recent burn scars over the weekend and into early next week.
