A long-track supercell began around Wall, SD and tracked all the way into Beadle County, persisting for nearly 190 miles and producing very large hail along the way! Quarter size hail was reported in southern Stanley county and northern Jones county. The hail size increased to that of a baseball by the time the storm was south of the Harrold and Highmore areas. Several vehicle windshields were broken south of Harrold. Additional significant hail reports were noted in Hand County where golfball size hail was reported near Miller Dale Colony and ping pong ball size hail just to the east of Miller.
