A multi-day, heavy rainfall event of 4+
inches over SE portions of our basin
continues to look likely over the next week.
While drought and abnormally dry soil
conditions continue for the entire ABRFC, far
SE portions of the basin have seen 2+ inches
of rain in the last 30 days. It is therefore
possible, if not likely, to see some minor
river flooding in these areas with wetter
soils, with even moderate flooding possible,
given these forecast totals. Hopefully, rain
will fall gradually over this time period and
only bring beneficial drought relief.
