Proposed Flood Stages for Lake Connell Dam in Ketchikan

On July 7, 2022, the National Weather Service (NWS) Forecast Office in Juneau, Alaska and the Alaska-Pacific River Forecast Center (APRFC) will be assigning new flood stages for the Lake Connell Dam in Southeast Alaska.

The new flood stages were set based upon observations of impacts around Ward Lake along Ward Creek which is downstream of Lake Connell Dam.
