Heavy Snow And Hazardous Travel Conditions Expected Over The Rockies, Locally Heavy Rainfall Over The South

Heavy snow and hazardous travel conditions will persist over portions of the central and southern Rockies into Friday before diminishing. ...END OF THE GROWING SEASON FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST VIRGINIA
AND NORTHEAST NORTH CAROLINA...

Temperatures earlier this morning dropped to 32 degrees or colder
for much of southeast Virginia and northeast North Carolina. The
cumulative impact of this freeze has officially ended the growing
season in the following areas:

Hampton/Poquoson...Newport News...Norfolk/Portsmouth...
Northampton...Virginia Beach...and Currituck NC...

No frost or freeze headlines will be issued over these areas
until the growing season starts in the spring of 2020. This also
officially ends the frost/freeze program for our entire forecast
area until the spring of 2020. A full status map of the current
