National Weather Service United States Department of Commerce

Happening NOW: Snow continues to drift eastward over northeast Iowa, southeast Minnesota, and western and central Wisconsin. Many area roads are snow covered.

Periods of light snow will continue into early Wednesday morning. As the snow tapers off from west to east, temperatures will fall below freezing. This will cause wet surfaces to become very slippery.

Travel will remain hazardous through the overnight. If you must travel, be prepared for a slow evening commute.
