Thunderstorms have produced very heavy rainfall across the area, especially over portions of northeast Iowa and southwest Wisconsin. Flash flooding is ongoing in those areas with numerous roads under water and some mud and rock slides reported in hilly terrain locations. The threat for additional severe storms has moved east, but flooding will persist through the overnight hours.
