Severe Thunderstorms and Heavy Rainfall on the East Coast

Scattered severe thunderstorms may continue Friday over the Carolinas and along the East Coast north into parts of the Mid-Atlantic. Damaging wind gusts and a few tornadoes are the primary threats.
