Threat For Heavy Rainfall And Flash Flooding Continues From The Mid South To The Mid Atlantic; Critical Fire Weather Over The Western U.S.

A slow moving low pressure system will bring a continued threat for heavy rainfall and flooding from portions of the Mid South to the Ohio Valley and Mid Atlantic through midweek. The last day a low temperature was zero or above was on January 19th with a low temperature of 13 degrees. The previous record was 22 days held by two previous years. The first 22 day string was from January 17th through February 7th 1936.
