Fall Weather Pattern Arrives

Rain and much cooler temperatures behind a cold front will bring a feeling of fall to the east coast today. In addition, an active fall storm pattern developing in the Pacific Northwest this week will bring areas of heavy rains, and very high elevations could receive heavy snow. As of February 16th, Duluth, MN has had 60 days with a temperature below zero this Winter Season (December 1st through February 28th).  This breaks the record of 59 days set in the winter season of 1916-1917 and two other seasons.  Minimum temperatures are expected to remain above zero until this weekend...then they are expected to drop back below zero.
