Last Map Update: Tue, May 19, 2026 at 6:34:22 pm EDT

Showers and thunderstorms possible nearly every day this week. Chances increase from the north and west, spreading south and east, through Friday. Chances peak each day in the afternoon and evening before decreasing overnight and in the early morning hours. Areas of heavy rainfall will be possible with local amounts well over 1" possible each day, though other areas may simultaneously receive little to no rainfall. Temperatures remain mostly consistent with highs mostly in the 80s to near 90 each day. Lows in the 60s to near 70.
Rain chances will increase tomorrow as a frontal boundary becomes stationary in the region. The coverage of showers and thunderstorms will be highest during the afternoon and evening.
Long range models are favoring wetter than normal conditions through the end of May. This does not mean it will rain every day or that there will necessarily be a period of heavy rain. However, it does suggest increased opportunities for wet weather through the end of the month. This would be very welcomed rainfall given the ongoing drought conditions across the region.
Here are the forecast low temperatures and precipitation chances for tonight.
Here are the forecast high temperatures and precipitation chances for tomorrow.
