Overview

During the morning of March 26 snowfall began in southeast North Dakota and west central Minnesota. This produced a wintry mix with areas of moderate to heavy snow as it spread to the north and east. Snow totals were highest in west central and northeast Minnesota with 8 inches reported near Park Rapids, MN. Warmer temperatures to the south and west kept the snow accumulations lower because of melting snow and rain/sleet mixing in.
