Second Major Winter Storm Within a Week Strikes Wisconsin

The second winter storm within a week hit much of Wisconsin this past weekend, creating hazardous conditions for holiday travelers. 6 to 12 inches of heavy, wet snow along with strong winds, downed trees and power lines which knocked out power for thousands of residents. Strong winds and high lake levels also caused flooding along susceptible lake shore communities.
