Dangerously Cold Wind Chills       

What: Wind chill readings of 20 below to 35 zero tonight into Sunday morning.

Where: Entire area, coldest wind chills across north-central Wisconsin.

Impacts: Frost bite can occur in as little 20 to 30 minutes.

Actions: Cover exposed skin. Wear several layers of clothing, hat, and gloves. Protect pets from the cold, make sure they have fresh water. Limit outdoor exposure if possible.

Even colder air is forecast for the middle of next week. This event will be colder than what we experienced so far this weekend. Be sure to prepare and dress appropriately for the cold temperatures.
