Five Day Outlook

Strong winds and elevated seas are expected across the Bays and Gulf waters through midday Thursday. A Small Craft Advisory remains in effect through Thursday morning. We are looking at northerly winds of 15-25 knots with gusts reaching 35 knots, along with seas building up to 8 feet. These conditions will be hazardous for smaller vessels, so if you're an inexperienced mariner, you'll definitely want to think about staying in port until things calm down later this evening.

Bundle up tonight! Chilly weather returns as temperatures plummet behind today's cold front. Lows will drop into the 30s for most inland areas, with windy conditions expected along the coast.

Thursday is shaping up to be cooler with plenty of sunshine and light northerly winds.

Buckle up for a temperature rollercoaster, SE Texas! We start warm today, but a cold front arrives this afternoon, cooling things down for Thursday. We rebound quickly with highs hitting the low 70s on Friday, only for another cold front to knock temperatures back down for the weekend. Keep those jackets handy!
