Isolated to scattered severe storms will be possible this afternoon, mainly across east Mississippi. The primary risk will be damaging winds and large hail. A tornado can not be ruled out.

Showers and thunderstorms are expected across the area main this afternoon. Some severe thunderstorms are possible in eastern portions. High temperatures will reach into the 70s and 80s.
