Flash flooding will be possible across a large portion of the area through today through early Sunday morning. Rainfall totals on the order of 1-3 inches could result in localized flash flooding and minor river flooding.
Isolated severe storms capable of producing damaging wind gusts and up to quarter size hail will be possible across the Pine Belt region, primarily between 1 PM and 7 PM today.
Chances for widespread showers, and isolated to scattered thunderstorms, will exist across the area today as a disturbance moves east through the region. Highs will range from around 60 in the Delta, to around 80 across the Pine Belt where an isolated severe storm will be possible through early this evening.
After a brief lull in activity during the first half of the night, rain chances will again increase across the entire area after midnight as another disturbance moves east through the region. Look for lows to range from the middle 40s to the lower 50s.
As the last disturbance exits the region, rain chances will come to an end from west to east across the area through late Sunday afternoon. Otherwise, look for cooler conditions as highs top out in the low and middle 60s.
