Severe Storms Across Portions of the Central U.S.; Wet and Windy in the Northwest

A few severe thunderstorms with damaging winds and large hail are expected this today across Kentucky, northeast Minnesota, and from southeast Colorado into the Oklahoma Panhandle. These storms may produce heavy rain and flooding in Kentucky. A strong cold front will sweep through the Northwest U.S. with rain, mountain snow and high winds. Current Status:  We have identified a new location for the Bellflower NWR and are currently working the contractual process for that location.  Once that process is complete, we will be able to provide additional information on the new tower location and when we anticipate the NWR returning to service.  Tentatively, we expect the NWR to be back on the air in the Fall of 2022.
