West Texas sees many hazardous weather extremes: from thunderstorms to icing, dust storms to low IFR conditions, we get it all…sometimes even in the same day. Join us for an evening of informative and engaging presentations focused on aviation weather.
In aviation, safety is no accident. It must be planned. While pilot training provides a basic background in aviation weather services, continuing education is essential to keep both you, and those that put their lives in your hands, safe. Remember that weather related fatal events make up about a third of all fatal accidents. The more you know, the better equipped you will be to make the decisions related to having a safe flight.
Four presentations are planned for this event with the help of our neighbors at the Albuquerque and
Amarillo forecast offices.
