Severe storms are expected late tonight into the early morning hours on Monday. The best chances for seeing severe weather will be across the western sections of the state. Damaging winds will be the primary threat, along with isolated tornadoes. Locally heavy rainfall will also be a concern.
The threat for seeing severe weather will shift to the south and east by the daylight hours on Monday as the front progresses southeast. Damaging winds will again be the primary threat expected with the strongest storms, along with locally heavy rainfall.
This is our current thinking regarding the timing of the line of storms across Arkansas later tonight into Monday. Expect some adjustments to this forecast later today and tonight.
