.Summary...
Though temperatures much of the month were a little above average,
the month as a whole ended up 3.5 degrees below average. This was
largely due to very cold temperatures the first week, which were
as cold as 20 to nearly 30 degrees below average. High temperatures
that first week were the coldest since 1978, and by the average
temperature for the first week, it was the coldest March 1-7 at
Harrison since 1960.
Rainfall was below average for the first March since 2013, and it
was the driest March since then. Measurable snow fell for the first
March in two years.
