.Summary...
Though temperatures much of the month were a little above average,
the month as a whole ended up 3.5 degrees below average. This was
largely due to very cold temperatures the first week, which were
as cold as 20 to nearly 30 degrees below average. High temperatures
that first week were the coldest since 1978, and by the average
temperature for the first week, it was the coldest March 1-7 at
Harrison since 1960.

Rainfall was below average for the first March since 2013, and it
was the driest March since then. Measurable snow fell for the first
March in two years.

.Monthly Temperatures...
The average high temperature was the coldest since 2013. The average
low and monthly temperature was the coldest since 2014.

There were nine days with low temperatures at or below freezing,
which was the same as last year. For the second March in a row, there
were no temperatures at or above 80 degrees.

Daily temperatures were above average on 14 days, and below average
on 16 days.
