.Summary...
October at Pine Bluff went the complete opposite of September in
terms of temperatures and rainfall. Whereas September was drier than
average and near record warm, October ended up wetter than average
and the coldest in seven years.

Temperatures began the month in the 90s, peaking in the mid 90s
during the first three days. Things took a turn on the 7th and never
completely recovered. The coldest period came in the second week and
the last three days of the month.

Rainfall was fairly evenly distributed throughout the month. It was
the wettest October in five years.

.Monthly Temperatures...
The average high temperature was the coldest in seven years (since
2012). The average low temperature was the coldest in two years
(since 2017). The average monthly temperature was the coldest in
seven years (since 2012).

.Daily Temperatures...
Temperatures were above average on 11 days, average on one day, and
below average during the remaining 19 days.

There were five days with temperatures at or above 90 degrees, which
was the most in October since 1963.

There was one day with a temperature of 90 degrees, which was the
first time since 2015. However, there were only eight days with
highs at or above 80, which was the fewest since 2013.

Similar to last year, there was one day with highs below 50 degrees.

On the 31st, the high temperature of 48 degrees most recently tied
October 21, 1913 for the 7th coldest high on record for the month.
