.Summary...
Though August was relatively tolerable, September turned things
around completely. In terms of average high, low, and monthly
temperatures, this was the warmest September in several decades, and
one of the warmest since records began at Harrison. For the 19th
September in a row, there were no triple-digit temperatures.

Rainfall was deficient during the month, and it was the driest
September in two years. This was also the fourth September in a row
with below average rainfall.

.Monthly Temperatures...
The average high temperature was the warmest in 59 years (since
1960).

The average low temperature was the warmest in 21 years (since
1998), and tied 1998 for the warmest on record.

The average monthly temperature was also the warmest in 80 years
(since 1939), and the 3rd warmest on record.

.Daily Temperatures...
Only one day had below average temperatures, with one day right at
average. The remaining 28 days saw above average temperatures. In
terms of departure from normal,  the warmest days were in the last
week of the month, with daily temperatures as warm as 10 to near 15
degrees above normal.

There were 11 days with high temperatures at or above 90 degrees,
which was the most since 2005. While this was considerably above
average for the month, it was still nowhere near the record of 23
days from September 1939.

There were 25 days with low temperatures cooler than 70 degrees,
which was the fewest since 2007.

Suprisingly, there were no daily high or warmest low temperature
records broken during the month.

.Monthly Rainfall...
Rainfall was below average for the fourth September in a row. It was
the driest September since 2017.
