Drought Improved: Ellis, Pawnee, Lane, Clark, Comanche, Ford, Hodgeman, Edwards, Ness, Rush and Trego counties. Precipitation It was wetter than normal over the past month across most of southwest Kansas. Temperature Temperatures were near average across most of central and southwest Kansas, with a high degree of day to day variability.
