Please see all currently available products at https://drought.gov/drought-information-statements Please visit https://www.weather.gov/mkx/DroughtInformationStatement for previous statements. 1 Wisconsin Drought Update Moderate Drought in Lafayette and western Green County Abnormally Dry conditions in Iowa, southern Dane, northeast Green, Rock, southern Jefferson, southern waukesha, Walworth, Racine and Kenosha counties Over the past 4 weeks, drought improved one to two categories across much of southern Wisconsin. 4 Week Drought Condition Class Change Precipitation Rainfall over the past 30 days was 100 - 150% of normal across the areas of southern Wisconsin with drought improvement and 50-100% of normal in southwest Wisconsin where there is moderate drought. Rainfall over the past 120 days was 50-100% of normal in the moderate drought area in southwest Wisconsin. Current Conditions 28 Day Streamflow Streamflow over the past 28 days is in the 25-75 percentile There has been some increase in streamflow percentile in southwest Wisconsin since last month Soil moisture is in the 20-30th percentile in far southern Wisconsin. Last month values were in the 10-30th percentile across all of southern Wisconsin.
