Significant river flooding continues across most of Alabama, southeast Mississippi, and northwest Florida. This will be a long duration flooding event and significant flooding will likely continue through at least the end of the week (potentially longer). Check the tab labeled 'Rivers and Lakes' above this graphic for more detailed information on river observations and forecasts.
Dense fog has developed over the marine areas this evening and will continue through tonight, eventually spreading inland. This will make driving/boating difficult due to reduced visibilities (one nautical mile or less over water and one quarter mile or less over land). A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect until 9AM Tuesday morning. Be cautious if driving/boating tonight!
