National Weather Service United States Department of Commerce

Minnesota & Wisconsin

April 8-12, 2019

The National Weather Service, Wisconsin Emergency Management, the Minnesota Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, and other state, county and local agencies have come together to host Severe Weather Awareness Week activities.

This week is designed to remind and educate everyone about the seasonal threats from severe weather and how to best prepare for them. It is also a great time to make and practice your emergency plan and build or refresh your emergency preparedness kit.
