Wintry Weather Across Wide Swaths of the Country; Heavy Rain in the Mid South

A developing storm will bring wintry conditions from the Midwest to the Mid-Atlantic, including into the National Capital Region; and heavy rain that may cause flash flooding across the Mid-South. In the West, another storm will slide south along the coast with low elevation snow, and 1 to 2 feet in the mountains. Heavy rain may also cause flash floods on the western Hawaiian Islands.
