Critical fire weather conditions are expected Monday afternoon and evening due to gusty winds, low relative humidity, and a wind shift out of the north to northwest.
Strong, potentially damaging north winds will come through the Okanogan Valley Monday. Rapid spread of new fires, tree damage, and power outages are possible hazards with these magnitude of winds.
Gusty north to northeast winds will impact the Northern Mountains and spill into the Waterville Plateau. Tree damage and power outages will be a concern for the northern mountains.
