Locally Heavy Rain in the Southeast; Coastal Storm Forms This Weekend

Moisture interacting with a stalled front will bring rain, locally heavy, to the Southeast today and Friday. Some rain could be heavy enough for flash flooding. A storm system is expected to develop just offshore of the Carolinas late Friday and shift north off the East Coast.
