Zeta Heading Toward the Gulf Coast; Snow and Ice Across the Southern Rockies & High Plains

Zeta is forecast to bring hurricane conditions, life-threatening storm surge, and heavy rainfall to portions of the northern Gulf Coast by late Wednesday.                  mph and blew tree limbs down 3 miles east of Rosston.

                 Scattered thunderstorms moved across parts of central and southern
                 Oklahoma duing the afternoon.  Lightning struck an oil tank battery in
                 Marshall County, setting it on fire.  In Grady County SH 19 was closed
                 between Alex and Chickasha due to high water and a mobile home was
                 destroyed by thunderstorm winds 2 miles south of Alex.  Damage was
                 estimated at $20,000.
