Significant Severe Weather and Flooding Continue for the Central U.S.

Severe thunderstorms, with some strong tornadoes and very large hail, will continue across central portions of the country through Thursday evening as well as a strong wind threat in portions of the Northeast. Today will basically be a repeat of yesterday, except for a few degrees warmer. Morning clouds, afternoon sun, and a few mountain showers and thunderstorms.
A glance at the 5 day forecast: W WA will see a warm up over the holiday weekend, with temperatures reaching the mid 70s by Monday. There will be a slight chance of showers daily through Memorial Day, with chances of afternoon thunderstorms in the mountains. Drier conditions will then return early next week.
