Beta Moving Toward the Texas Coast; Fire Weather Concerns in the West

Beta is expected to slowly approach the Texas coast with an increasing risk of heavy rainfall and flooding along the northwest Gulf Coast by Sunday. Life-threatening storm surge and hurricane-force winds are possible along portions of the Texas Coast by Monday.
