The threat of severe thunderstorms will increase on Monday as a strong cold front advances into the region. The southeast half of the region is included in some level of risk with a Slight to Enhanced Risk covering much of North Louisiana and parts of deep East Texas. Damaging winds and isolated tornadoes are the primary concerns with large hail slightly lower on the threat level.
Overnight low temperatures will range widely as a cold front begins to enter our northwest zones while much warmer temperatures are expected over the remainder of the region. Expect 40s along and north of the I-30 corridor while 50s and 60s will be common south of I-30.
Rain chances forecast to increase tonight as an upper level storm system approaches.
