Weak high pressure will generate fair weather today but the upstream smoke from fires over Central Canada will keep the air quality and visibility poor this morning. But, some improvement in the smoke is expected across the northeastern section of the state later today. A warm front will push north across the area Saturday followed quickly by a cold front coming down from the Great Lakes. Thunderstorms that will be capable of producing locally damaging wind gusts and heavy rainfall are possible on Saturday afternoon/night. Sunday will feature low/comfortable humidity and a northwest breeze. Some smoke will still be around on Sunday, but should not be as dense as today and yesterday (Thursday). && Warren- Including the city of Warren 259 AM EDT Fri Jul 17 2026 Today Tonight Sat Cloud Cover Pcldy Pcldy Mcldy Precip Type None Showers Tstms Chance Precip (%) 0 30 70 Chance of Thunder (%) 0 0 50 Temp (24h trend) 84 (+2) 62 (+2) 83 RH % (24h trend) 38 (-1) 95 (-4) 74 20ftWnd-Val/AM(mph) Lgt/Var SW 5 G16 20ftWnd-Rdg/PM(mph) Lgt/Var Lgt/Var SW 7 G19 Precip Amount 0.00 0.05 0.71 Precip Duration 0 7 Precip Begin 3 AM Continuing Precip End Continuing Continuing Mixing Hgt(ft-agl) 5440 420 2990 Transport Wnd (mph) NW 8 W 3 SW 21 Vent Rate (kt-ft) 38080 1260 53820 Dispersion 5 1 5 DSI 2 1 Sunshine Hours 9 4 Max ADI Early 24 Fair 33 Fair 13 Gen Poor Max ADI Late 59 Gen Good 8 Poor 13 Gen Poor Max LVORI Early 6 4 5 Max LVORI Late 1 4 5 Remarks: ADI is Atmospheric Dispersion Index by Lavdas.
