Temperature and Precipitation Outlooks 6-10 days
Layers of temperature and precipitation for the U.S. Out 6-10 days
2016-01-01
revision
A CPC forecaster creates the 6-10 day temperature and precipitation outlooks. Shading starts at 33%, with contours at 33%, 40%, 50%, 60%, 70%, 80% and 90%. The shaded areas
in outlooks are of probabilities of above or below normal temperatures (above or below median precipitation). Any area not specifically colored on the map delineate areas where near
normal conditions are favored. The forecast valid period is 6-10 days into the future.
