The National Weather Service in Lake Charles has issued a 

* Flood Warning for 
  the Sabine River Near Burkeville.
* from Thursday morning until further notice...or until the warning 
  is cancelled.
* At  4:15 PM Wednesday the stage was 28.9 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 43.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river is forecast to rise above flood stage by late Thursday morning and 
  continue to rise to near 46.0 feet by Friday morning.
* Impact...At stages near 45.0 feet...Moderate flooding occurs.
* Impact...At stages near 43.0 feet...Residential flooding in the 
  River Bend Subdivision occurs.
