...Forecast flooding increased from Moderate to Major severity...
The Flood Warning continues for 
 the Village Creek Near Kountze.
* until Tuesday morning...or until the warning is cancelled.
* At  5:16 PM Friday the stage was 21.7 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and Major flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 23.2 feet by 
  late this evening. The river will fall below flood stage Monday
  evening.
* Impact...At stages near 23.0 feet...Major lowland flooding will 
  occur.
* Impact...At stages near 22.0 feet...Water covers entire floor of 
  Farm to Market Road 418. Water threatens homes near the creek in 
  Kountze. Significant flooding occurs in Village Creek State Park.
