...Forecast flooding increased from Moderate to Major severity...
The Flood Warning continues for 
 the Red River Near Alexandria.
* until further notice...or until the warning is cancelled.
* At  9:00 AM Tuesday the stage was 35.6 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Major flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 32.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 40.5 feet by 
  Sunday morning.
* Impact...At stages near 40.0 feet...Extensive backwater flooding 
  occurs near the confluence of the Cane River.
* Impact...At stages near 37.5 feet...Water reaches top of the rails
  of the Texas and Pacific railroad bridge at Boyce. Considerable 
  backwater flooding will occur.
