An approaching cold front will bring a chance of rain showers daytime Wednesday, mainly in the afternoon and mainly north and west of NYC, while temperatures run about 10 degrees above normal. Showers will be more widespread Wednesday night as the front moves through, and could briefly mix with or change to snow late north and west. The frontal passage Wednesday night will be followed by below normal temperatures for much of the rest of the week.
