A fast-moving frontal system will bring some very light and spotty precipitation from late Tuesday afternoon into Tuesday evening. Precipitation should change to rain in NYC and across Long Island Tuesday night as temperatures slowly warm, but some patchy light freezing rain and sleet may mix in north and west of NYC, and along parts of the north shore of Suffolk County on Long Island.
